Housing3A.8 Definition of affordable housingDPD policies should define affordable housing as housing designed to meet the needs of households whose incomes are not sufficient to allow them to access decent and appropriate housing in their borough. Affordable housing comprises social and intermediate housing. DPD policies should ensure that new affordable housing provision seeks to meet the full spectrum of housing need.
