Cycle Highways - Heathrow to Central London

How many people are you realistically expecting to cycle from Heathrow to Central London on this particular cycle route?

Following detailed demand analysis in late 2009, Cycle Superhighway route 9 is proposed to start at Hounslow town centre (rather than Heathrow), ending at Hyde Park. This will enable focused investment where we know there is high potential for modal shift to cycling.

Route 9 is one of the routes to be developed in more detail following the pilot routes, and the final route alignment will be subject to consultation with the London boroughs and other key stakeholders.
