The Greater London Alcohol and Drug Alliance (GLADA)

GLADA is a strategic partnership which aims to improve collective responses to alcohol and drug problems, and to provide a mechanism to tackle London wide priorities. It is a network of organisations, coming together in order to:

  • co-ordinate regional policy and approaches
  • tackle London wide issues
  • be a voice for London
  • ensure that London derives maximum benefit from all national and international initiatives
  • collectively deliver a work programme of agreed London priorities

GLADA agrees an annual programme of action to address issues that would benefit from a regional partnership approach. GLADA is also the strategic delivery board for the Regional statement of priorities for alcohol.

GLADA Women’s Voices

GLADA Women’s Voices is an advisory group that has been set up to be a voice for women in London affected by drug and alcohol issues. The women aim to use their knowledge and experiences of alcohol and drugs to influence policy and practice and improve options for women affected by these issues.
