- Work with local authorities to improve enforcement of environmental crimes.
- Encourage boroughs to recycle their street cleansing waste where practicable.
- Work with partners to provide on-stree recycling opportunities for street users.
- Support campaigns such as the Capital Clean-Up campaign that deliver and encourage wider involvement in such campaigns.
- Work with partners to develop a road map towards a plastic bad free London.
- Work with gum manufacturers and London boroughs to reduce the blight of chewing gum on London's streets by piloting biodegradable gum in London. |
- Explore the opportunity of working with London boroughs, tobacco companies and tobacco retailers to develop a pan London smoking related litter campaign.
- Working with London Councils and London boroughs, explore the opportunity of developing an on-line reporting and recording system for litter and flytipping.
