London Skills and Employment Board
Welcome to the website of the London Skills and Employment Board (LSEB), established to provide leadership in improving adult skills and employment in London.
The LSEB is chaired by the Mayor of London and is employer-led to ensure that its work is driven by the needs of employers and that skills provision meets the existing and future needs of the London workforce. Harvey McGrath, Chairman of Prudential plc, is the Vice-Chair and Board members include top London business leaders, large employers, small businesses, education specialists, local authorities and union representation. In July 2008, the Mayor launched London's Future: The Skills and Employment Strategy for London 2008 – 2013, which sets out a blueprint for the changes required to improve employment and skills outcomes for Londoners and London employers over the next five years.
