- London: A cultural audit March 2008
This report is the first quantitative overview of London’s cultural environment,
which it compares with that of four world cities – New York, Paris, Tokyo
and Shanghai. The report was commissioned by the London Development Agency, with
input from GLA Economics and The Mayor’s Office, and the data collation
and analysis was undertaken by a research team of BOP Consulting and Experian.

- 'The city is built to music' - small
to medium-sized venues in the capital March 2008
'The city is built to music' report is the first step to ensuring that Londoners continue to have access
to some of the greatest forums for live music in the world. It outlines the extent and nature of the threat
to the future of small to medium-sized music venues in London and suggests a series of policy recommendations.

- The Mayor of London’s Disability and Culture Research January 2006
The Mayor commissioned research to investigate the extent to which
disabled people are catered for within 60 major mainstream cultural
institutions in London. The specified number of 60 cultural institutions,
15 each from arts, sport, heritage and libraries, was chosen
to represent a manageable sample of agencies to research in detail.
The objectives of the research were: to establish a benchmark, identify
good practice and gaps in provision of resources and services across
the cultural sector for disabled people.
This report sets out the main findings of the research.

London: Cultural Capital is the Mayor's Culture Strategy,
a ten-year plan to develop London as a centre of cultural
excellence and creativity. It is the first co-ordinated strategic
approach to culture, which includes arts, sport, heritage
and creative industries in London.

- Notting Hill Carnival Review Group Report April 2004
An independent Review Group was set up with the purpose
of formulating guidelines to safeguard the future of the
Carnival. The main issues addressed by the consultation
were public safety and density of people, Carnival location
and procession/route, travel to and from Carnival, police
presence and provision of facilities. It published a major
evaluation of how Notting Hill Carnival is managed, financed,
supported and perceived.
