Personal Assistant to Assistant Director Health and Communities

£27,001 1-year fixed term contract

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and experienced Personal Assistant to join the Greater London Authority’s Health and Communities unit on a 1-year fixed-term contract or secondment to cover sabbatical leave arrangements.

Supporting the Assistant Director - Health and Communities, you will complete all the traditional duties such as managing diaries, arranging meetings and responding to a wide range of correspondence and requests for information and will also act as an important interface between the Assistant Director and a range of senior directors, stakeholders and politicians. You will also work as part of the wider business support team to provide administrative support to managers across the unit.

To succeed you will have an excellent track record of achievement working in a similar high profile role for a senior manager, with well developed interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people. You will be able to demonstrate previous successful experience in managing a busy and varied workload within a fast-paced and challenging environment.
